How many hours a night do you get, and how many times do you wake up on average?

I wake up about three times a night and lie awake worrying. I guess I get about 6 hours a night, which is not enough  cussing:

How did this thread get from sleeping patterns to dead kittens so quickly?

Anyhoo, I treated him to unofficial tuna and apparently "spoilt him rotten"

I get four hours maximum. Usually off to bed midnight/one-ish. Always been like that since being a teenager. But luckily, it's four hours unbroken sleep

Go to bed about 11 or 12 and get up at 5.30 during the working week and 6.30 to 7 at weekends .

I am a really light sleeper so any noises outside wake me - there are many of those  evil:

What's not?
It's more normal than our kipping pattern, and I'm thouroughly jealous tbh.

On saying that, i generally don't feel too bad tiredness wise most days.

Whatever time I go to bed (it depends on how ill I feel) I tend to wake within two hours and then doze/listen to radio/doze/listen to radio/doze/listen to radio until 6.30 when I go out like a light and wake feeling awful an hour later.

Worry whilst not sleeping? ~ All the time, usually about not waking up ..... ever.

The doctors say I am depressed ...... I say I am pissed off

I really need 8 hrs. Must be a couple of years at least since I had eight hrs unbroken.  Go to bed between 10 and 12 usually.  If I can get to sleep am usually awake a couple of hours later then it's either reading radio or TV or a combination of all three.  I take quite a few drugs at the moment all of which make me drowsy but still I can't sleep for more than a few hours.  I used to be an early bird loved walking the dog at stupid o clock when no one else was around.  Struggle to be compos mentis by 8.30am now. Feel like crap during the day and it boils my piss. cussing:

You sleep more eratic when you get older.
