In Birkenhead earlier I popped into a sort of shop thing to get some stuff for my compooter.

Me: I need a new keyboard.
Him: Yes sir, here is one for just ?8.99
Me: OK, and two black toner cartridges.
Him: Yes sir, ?8 each
Me: Jolly cheap! And now a little weeny cable to connect my dongle to my laptop
Him: Yes sir, ?27.99
Me:  eeek: For a six inch cable? eeek:
Him: Yes sir
Me: get stuffed!

Was it a USB extension cable...?

Cables can be a total rip-off - especially audio and Hi-Fi cables....

Yes, what a rip off! I spent ?15 and bought a 4 port USB hub (from a different shop obviously)
