Post by: Snoopy on December 03, 2009, 09:04:32 AM
Still has the potential to be the best meal of the day. Just cooked myself a plate of the old E&B. Delish!  cloud9:

I assume "fury" is some kind of Freudian slip.

I am rather partial to fried liver sausage for brekky.

Anybody else, or am I in a minority as usual?

I would be happy to share tel's brekky of fried liver sausage as long as the fried eggs have runny yolks to dip the sausage into. Drool:

I confess that these days my normal brekky is a bowl of gruel ~ half cup of rolled oats, cup of water, mix and microwave for 1.5 mins. Add cold water to take it off the boil and avoid burning mouth. Add nothing and eat. It is pretty disgusting but actually keeps my blood sugar levels even throughout the whole morning, which is the purpose. HOWEVER occasionally, like today, I get rebellious and have a bit of a fry-up. Fry-up is a misnomer as it is all done without fat on a George Foreman grill thingy but it feels soooo good to put two fingers up to the health police every now and again.

In Glasgow, you are supposed to choose your croissant then give it to the chef to dip in batter and deep-fry it.

You stand just on the top bun on one foot - like any other burger...  ::)
