It is officially 'holiday season' I have been hearing quite a lot of Gershwins music today. I use that term lightly because to me, most of it is just a discordant jangle of noise, never have liked it and never will. There are some 'good bits but personally I have to wade through a load of crap to get there. I tend toward classical music and for me this is not 'classical'. However I don't like
Prockpo Prochp the Russian bloke who did 'Jingle Bells'either to my untamed ear they are from the same school. Is it just my age or should I be concerned....

Dear Mrs Trellis,
The only thing you need to be concerned with is the Off switch on your radiogram. This can usually be found on top of the appliance and generally marked On / Off; failing that, if you follow the wire from the back of the set to the wall you could unplug it.
Indeed the composers to whom you referred fall outside the generally accepted dates of the classical era, 1750 ~ 1825, but casting Gershwin and Prokofiev as from the same school is an interesting observation since Gershwin lived and died within the lifespan of Prokofiev. Whilst Gershwin was of emigr? Russian parentage his compositions were more populist than Prokofiev's whom some attest to be the greatest composer of the 20thC.
I feel a thesis coming on; like you, perhaps it's an age thing eeek:
Sergei Pastis - completely unqualified

It is just your age.
At some stage, 'Jingle Bells' and 'White Christmas' will become enjoyable.
When they do, go here (http://www.dignitas.ch/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=117&Itemid=166)

Sergei Pastis - completely unqualified
But clearly Certified.

True surrender:
But then, I happen to like both Gershwin and Prokofiev; this is particularly fine ;)
