Title: Irritating television programmes
Post by: Miss Creant Commander of the picklement and baking BAb(Hons) on November 18, 2009, 07:20:31 PM
I am somewhat at a loose end and so have flicked onto a Sky Animal Planet channel.  It is about meerkats and I thought it might amuse.  Not so the bloke doing the talk over is telling me that the meerkats are being irresponsible and that lounging by the wall is dangerous because anyone could turn up.  Feck off they have brains the size of peas and it is another band or whatever the collective noun for meerkats is that is going to rock up.  They are not human. cussing: Angry9: Banghead Tosser.

All telly is irritating these days...  noooo:

Our Sky is busted so we are watching Alistair Cook's America on DVD...

What a breath of fresh air - no bloody 'clever' camera angles or any of that shite... And, for a series that was (presumably) on for one hour per week, no need then to repeat half the previous week's show for those with the memory of a goldfish... I'm loving it...

TV today is dumbed down for the very dumbest...

I need to get back there and get some piccies for you all. It REALLY is liveable in. Top quality wood, and an excellent manageable size too.
No good in his back garden though. Couldn't live in it there, but put it in the woods as a bit of a retreat like........oh hunny heaven.  cloud9:

Leccy in a shed?  eeek: Blasphamous that.  evil:

Ohh I don't know in my shed hey day I had one shed without and two sheds with, mind you the sheds with were for rearing chickens and  guinea fowl  so it was a necessity. The ordinary shed was just a shed complete with magazines and mice. cloud9:

I don't know... I'd say Mark Lawson's a fairly average sort of chap.

You've Been Framed.   ::)

Should be re-titled, You've been shafted.... to the tune of ?250.

What a total load of old cobblers. Same old stunts of tossers falling over and into water, and that bloody canned laughter!  sick2:

Well past its see by date, and needs binning urgently.

Soap operas in general ~ can't bide them
Autumn Watch really pisses me off since the irritable Bill Odie was sent packing for speaking the truth
BBC News if fronted by Huw Edwards whose curling top lip as he speaks gets me really annoyed
Anything to do with Children in Need or Red Nose Day both of which are well past their best before.

.

Thank the Lord. whistle:
The absolute monumental amounts grief and accusations of being a mean heartless selfish miserable bastard, doubts about where all the money is going and my botomless distaste for these two annual money grabbing carnivals, all had me slightly purturbed tbh.

I feel comforted in knowing that I'm NOT actually alone in this seemingly werld full of joyous, generous, happy, money throwing sheepies people cloud9:

I give to my chosen charities if and when I feel fit, but I WILL NOT be bludgeoned into paying some daft twat in a costume/hat/singing /lah de dah de diddly dum/etc.; etc.; just because it's the 'apparently ....'right and trendy thing to do' noooo:

Like the speaker on the radio this morning said "You have to ask what is wrong with our society that we still need to do this every year when it has been going for 30years .... Surely there is a better way to solve the problem permanently" ........ He was a Sikh which may explain why he doesn't buy into the idea.
