The Brat came home from school last night full of the latest horror. Apparently one of the teachers in the school had her phone stolen / lost whilst at school. Unfortunatley she kept some 'private ' pictures on the phone of her and her boyfriend noooo:
You can imagine that the bastards who stole her phone had downloaded these pictures, bluetoothed them on to their friends and it was all round the school in less than no time .
I have received this email from the school this morning
Dear Families
I am sorry to have to tell you that, as a result of the theft of a teacher?s phone, a private picture has been circulated between some students. The students responsible for the theft will be dealt with and I am extremely upset that they would behave in such a way. Stealing (both the phone and picture are private
property) cannot be tolerated and the matter is likely to be passed onto the police as a criminal offence.
I am also concerned that a number of students have seen this image as a result of the irresponsible actions of a few. I would not want your child to be implicated as a result of such dishonest actions. I would ask you to ensure that, if your child has been sent the image, then it is deleted straight away.
I have asked the member of staff concerned to work at home temporarily until we have resolved the matter.
I am confident that families will appreciate that an adult?s personal life has been violated and that this is simply wrong.
Poor . poor woman .....she will be looking for another school fairly quickly I'd imagine noooo:

I am puzzled as to the unworldliness of people who teach our children ~ there are surely enough similar cases highlighted weekly in the professional publications to be found in every staffroom for teachers to be aware of the probability of this happening ~ and I have to ask how a teacher can "work at home" ....... there is only so much lesson prep and marking to be done. Why not just say the teacher has been suspended on full pay to enable her to reflect on her stupidity and to decide if she is really cut out for the job?
Sorry but self inflicted wounds earn no medals in this army! noooo:
-
I think the working at home is probably translated into filling in job applications
-
Indeed ~ meanwhile where on the internet can one find the picture? Just to enable one to make a subjective judgement you understand whistle:

Thanks for PMing the picture to me Miss D! eyes:

Good Grief! and she kept the picture on her mobile. Seriously, should someone with that sort of judgement be teaching?
-
Basically, people are stupid.
Some of the stuff that I came across that was left on mobiles that I had to deal with would have cost people their jobs/marriages. Same with emails.
Sometimes technology is wonderful.
