Title: My daughters wedding to be..
Post by: Mrs TG on August 08, 2009, 04:27:30 PM
I Thought with you all missing me so much over last few months due to my lack of coming in pub due to still being in poverty land. I thought i would pop in an have a tap water, and tell you it now only 265 days to my daughters posh wedding up in South Wales, and i know all us ladies love a good wedding so any hints and tips and need some advice on getting a mother of bride outfit, (when it can be afforded if ever!)

NO MEN COMMENTS IF THEY CANT BE NICE OR HELPFUL.... noooo:

Had to edit to make the picture work ~ Looks nice.

Married twice but never in church. Too expensive. Eldest daughter had big church do ~ cost me an arm and a leg.

Marzipan  cloud9: cloud9:

Actually I think a sponge cake is much better than a fruit cake, it's not so heavy.
For a wedding that is, for normal eating give me a fruit cake any day. Talking of cake reminds me, anyone heard how Growler is ?

Oh yes......and don't the men invest heavily on the stag nights and hardly any on their future wife's hen night

What always startles me is that most of the women seem complete control freaks ( prompt for all the blokes in here to say that is the norm  ::) )  and how can the blokes possibly not have a clue what they want. Surely they talk about this before they contact the producers of the show  rubschin:

The blokes aren't concentrating ~ they are too busy trying to come up with a plausible excuse to call it all off.

Seriously I have never watched it but from my own experience I can assure you that I had no stag nights, no-one had any hen nights and the whole prospect filled me with foreboding. I have never understood the fuss and commotion that goes with weddings and I never shall. I do accept that it is seen as "The Brides Big Day" and if she and her chums want to look stupid then they'd best get on with it.

Answer me this ~ why do hoooooge gerls all think they can wear strapless frocks with their great fat arms on show?

I went to one wedding where the bride had a fecking great zit (all yellow and pus filled) in the middle of her bare back. Her father forked out several thousands so that his ugly daughter could display her spots?

I am against people donning inappropriate clothing thus making themselves look bloody stupid and then paying out a fortune to have all their friends and rellies see them looking that way. To compound the felony they then get some pillock along to take photographs of it and post them on the internet.

Perhaps because I am old enough to remember when our Senior members of Government went about in Top Hats, Tails and striped trousers that I also question why ordinary people now want to make themselves look like that.

This one looks like a total arse

Two pieces of black bitmac are in the pub having a few pints and a laugh, telling jokes and getting a bit drunk.
Then a piece of red bitmac enters the pub and the two pieces of black bitmac stop speaking and just look down at their pints until the red piece of btmac has ordered his drink and goes off down the other end of the pub to play on the gambling machine.
Then they start up speaking again, and having a laugh like before.
The pub landlord is a little confused at whats going on and asks the two pieces of black bitmac why they are scared of the piece of red bitmac.
"What him?, he`s a f*****g CYCLE PATH"! they replied.

Be much more fun to be a fly on the wall after the event. All the "Well he's really let himself go" and "She must be at least 20 years younger than him" comments that will be flying around. The only reason I go to family get-togethers is for the bitchiness afterwards.
