The UK terror threat level has been lowered from "severe" to "substantial", the Home Office has said.
The level was raised in 2007, meaning a terrorist attack was "highly likely". The downgrading means there is a "strong possibility" of an attack.
Can anyone make any sense of this at all?

I think that they just want us all to feel safe and secure.....Oh and to forget about the expenses claims, the Charlie Whelan/Damien McBride debacle, the war in Afghanistan, the You Tube broadcast, retrospective car tax, the Nigerian oil adventure, secret donations to the Labour Party........
