Fly out on Saturday and fly back the following Sunday. Can't wait!!!
It falls mainly on the plain DS, but Mother Wench lives on the coast so it isn't a problem. ;)

RELAXING!!!
She doesn't do itineraries. Think the most I am required to do is make her tea. cloud9:

Dedham Mill (Constable ~ Haywain etc)
The Whole of London (Just down the road)

But it's a holiday! Not an educational field trip!!

That's 1 hell of a week you've got planned eeek:

It is an opportunity for Mrs S#2 to visit her home County and for the children to learn. No opportunity remains unexplored. Life is all about new experiences and anyway no-one in their right mind goes to the East Coast of England in search of sun and sangria in fecking April.
The children will be taken out every day to see something new. Rowing a skiff along the river to Dedham Mill is a real joy. Tell me of a little boy who doesn't want to watch the Changing of the Guard. and then see how gunpowder is made. Show me a THW who doesn't want to go shopping in Oxford Street with her mother.
Of course it is a holiday ~ just not one that will be spent lazing on a beach ~ we have miles of those right here at home ~ which is why we do not go away during the summer.

Of course it is. Children need to be occupied every waking moment or they get bored.
Those who live in and work around London miss so much because they see it every day. My boys have not yet seen any of it.
Mrs S#2 and I lived there too and we want to share some of the joys with the children.
At home they have mountains (halfway up one of which we live) Miles of sandy beaches less than three miles away by car and visible from their bedroom windows. Snowdonia is 20 minutes drive away. We don't need a once a year dose of the seaside ~ we live on holiday.

Children need to be occupied every waking moment . . .
The same goes for France and Poland.
-
GOS is taking care of that as we speak.
