A quick bit of research tells me that escalators have been around for about 120 years, so not an entirely new phenomenon then you would think. ::)
So how much intelligence is required to figure out that there might be someone behind you, and it's really not a good idea to dump your worldly belongings on the floor at the end of the escalator and regroup, causing those behind you to hop, skip and triple jump their way to safety? evil:
I narrowly avoided getting my foot hooked in the handle of a bag of laundry and flying face down on the floor whilst noticing that the woman responsible for this was looking surprised that so many others were darting about trying to avoid her.

TBH it was a minor blemish in an alarmingly interesting day. TFL is not the best at weekends currently... and they lie evil:

See also : some brain damaged bint in Argos yesterday who had bought a month's worth of shopping in Sainsbury's then popped into Argos to buy a tartan shopping trolley as it was too much to carry home noooo:
She dumped the orange plastic bags in the middle of the floor whilst taking her package to the corner of the shop to put together ...people were tripping up , kicking her shopping etc . Did she move it - did she heck as like noooo:

Weekend travelling in London is a farce - I pity the tourist who looks at the map and think they can go from A to B on one simple trip noooo:

Well, I'm kind of glad that I managed to see ExCel before the terrorists blow it up at the G20 summit. Anyone been there? It's a strange place rubschin:

Been there once .....mahoosive and disorganised were my abiding memories - not sure if that was me or the venue either lol:
