A number of times yesterday I tried to get into the Pub and all I got was an "Easy Space" Page telling me that the Virtual Pub domain had been reseved but not used. This is clearly crap.
Meanwhile I have heard that another suffered the same experience.
Can anyone who also encountered this problem let me know and we'll investigate.
-
Happened to me two or three times yesterday and once last week
-
I suspect a server problem but the more who experienced this the more ammo we have to fire at the service providers.
-
Me yesterday too!
-
No problems to date.
-
I had this problem several times yesterday when trying to access the site evil:
Also when moving betwen pages - lasted for about 5 minutes each time cussing:
-
Well that confirms it ~ Barman has something to get onto the SPs about tomorrow then ~ or whenever he turns up.
-
Me yesterday too!
You were the "another" refered to dear. lol:

Happened to me to, about mid-morning Saturday.

We have, of course, looked at version 2 but elected to go with an upgrade to 1.8 until 2 has had the bugs ironed out.
Nobody was playing with any levers or pulling any plugs. It was just one of those things. Complaint will be made to the appropriate quarters and applications for refunds by any member who has actually paid us to be here will be considered on merit. Payment, where due, will be made in Turnip Vouchers as the £ has dropped so much in value as to be worthless. whistle:

Off roading I gather
Same here. Ruthin, N.Wales.
Just when you thought off roading couldn't get anymore terrifying...........SWAMP 3 ! eeek:
Awesome place, and even I managed to get stuck....on the edge of a 50'drop into a ravine, with the track cambered towards it, and gradually sliding in the mud towards it. Quick lash on the gas pedal saw me dragging the monster away from certain death. Awesome fun.
BM would adore it. cloud9:
Oh yes, btw, the puter is werkin' just fine here, and has been all weekend since I twiddled the wires.

The planned route was washed-out on Thursday in a hooooge storm so it turned into more of a 200Km green-laneing event... Excellent fun tho, twelve Pajeros in convoy passing through little 'villages' that only normally see a couple of donkeys in the rush hour....

If the two years I spent in Hereford are anything to go by ~ more than 'slightly' Welsh.

Can one be slightly Welsh, isn't that like being a bit pregnant? I digress, I once knew a Marchioness from the Welsh Marches not a good combination I can tell you. ;)

When I was in Hereford, in the mid sixties, their proudest boast was that GBS had been invited to give a reading at the Garrick Theatre (it closed down in about 1946 and is now a museum). Shaw spent the day being given the tour of the City of Hereford, lunch with the local dignitaries etc and at the appointed time, so legend has it, strode onto the stage and, clearing his throat, announced "Ladies and Gentlemen ~ your little town is thirty years behind the times, I shall never come here again" and walked off stage to the sound of his own footsteps, hailed a cab to the station and left, never to return.
I do have dim recolllections of drunken revels in the Orange Tree Pub opposite the Cathedral and very fond memories of a particular young lady who I still hold dear but apart from those two I would say GBS was right.
