I wish all three of them well. Poor lad doesn't know what he is in for but credit to him for sticking with the babe.
I think the Sun could have been a bad idea but if it gets them some money to help with the costs fair enough.

This story headlines the Evening Standard. IDS is quoted as saying it highlights the case as a "tragic example" of Britain's social decline.

I think he has a point.

The boy has 'grown up' knowing nothing but labour... he is the spawn of labour... he knows no different than to breed and live off benefits...

True BM, but two points:-)

1) He has contributed nothing to the economy, and

2) She is a right munter. How long before someone more easy on the eye takes his parental duties out of the equation?

Sterilise both, forthwith.

Precisely... it is the labour way... he will feel no responsibility to the sprog or the munter after the first nappy change (his)....

And why isn't the little sod  (wouldn't have been pregnant if that was the case) being prosecuted for under-age sex?  Shrugs:

A point I made elsewhere - but they are only really interested in paedo's not inquisitive children, thus no prosecution.

I am truly of the opinion that the the ginger munter was impregnated by someone else (over 16) and then realised that said sperm donor could be prosucuted, then bribed baby faced boy to "admit" fatherhood.

The first thing that should happen is for little Alfie to be tested to see if he is capable. Preferably in front of all the combines parents and siblings.

Then shoot them all. Gently. In the back of the head.

Here's your answer:

Two other teenagers have told the News of the World that they could have fathered the child.
Both Richard Goodsell, 16, and Tyler Barker, 14, said they had slept with Chantelle at around the time she would have become pregnant, and claimed that she also had several other sexual partners.
Richard, who alleged to the paper he stayed in Chantelle's bed with the consent of her parents Penny and Steve, and without using any contraception, said he plans to demand a DNA test is carried out.

The local 'bike' then it seems.  ::)
All beggars belief, and WE'LL all end up picking the tab up for this shagging fiasco. Angry9:

Everyone is being manipulated ~ or so it seems ~ in the hopes of making shedloadsa money.

Can we, as men and wimmin of the world with, between us, a vast experience of life pause for a moment and think of the one person who is going to suffer most through all this. The one who has no say in what is going on, the one who is innocent of all the lies, crimes, slanders, blackmail etc etc.

For God's Sake! Think of the Baby someone ~ PLEASE!

Yes.

No, I would recommend putting the babdy up for adoption. How many normal responsible couples are there who want children but are unable to have any. The underclass we now have was creating by teaching and reinforcing the fact that they can have what they want without working for it. The baby didnt have any choice in the matter but it deserves a decent chance with a family that isnt either terninally screwed or looking at is as a cash cow.

After all you wouldd think they would be a bit reluctant to take a DNA test  if it was.

Or maybe they just hadn't thought it through.

Jumping on the bandwagon? (http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article2258733.ece)

Parents of twins at 15.

Sammi's mum Janet:

Daniel stayed here at our house with Sammii the odd night and of course, it happened. You can’t stop young couples when they’re courting. If they weren’t here they would just go somewhere else.”

Silly cow, a bit of education and guidance might have helped.

I was listening to the radio the other day and this topic was naturally being discussed. There were several people ringing in with the usual opinions being stated.

Then a gentleman called who said his daughter actually got preganant at 13 by a boy a year older. Instead of excusing her behaviour he was brutally honest and said he had failed her as a parent and she had been bloody stupid. Both he and his wife had tried to convince her to have an abortion but she refused. The father of the baby naturally disappeared sharpish. He said that the media were harrassing them 24/ 7 and offering them obscene amounts of money for the 'story' but he felt this was a private family matter that was not for public consumption and also felt quite personally ashamed of the situation.

Now some 6 years later he said he was proud that his daughter coped with so much at such an early age but without the support of the family she would not have been able to do so.

The circumstances between the 2 stories are very similar but the outcomes extremely different. This now just appears to be a media showcase and the 1 person at the centre of this whole story, the baby, seems to have been lost between numbers, the ages of the children and the amounts of money being paid to the parties involved  noooo:
