Anyone seen the TGs? They haven't been around for a week now. I don't recall that they were going away.
I feel uncomfortable with the pair of them wandering around out there ~ unsupervised like scared2:

I shall return to posting my normal volume of shite over the next few days. I have gone back to the job hunting after the Xmas period and have been otherwise busy/apathetic.
Also, we had some scousers visiting over the last few days and I have only just finished counting the ornaments.
Interestingly, they know Ainsdale well and when I spoke of the train/cake shop they larfed like drains and advised me to spend less time on the internet.
cussing:
-
Phew ~ that's a relief! Dunno what we would have done without youse two.

That'll be slate chippings then won't it? ::) They make an excellent surface that will not be slippery when wet. Mind you they also make excellent skimming stones for skipping across the water when the tide is in so you may lose a few in the months when the water comes right up.
As for the simulation ~ the driver of the bin lorry needs to go on a course. What sort of arse keeps his foot on the brake (see locked up rear wheels) when a gentle pressure on the accelerator would have pulled him out of that skid. Tit!

Correct on all points, I fear. I have apiece on my desk. Very good for skimming eveilgrin:

Go and have a lie down Nick... noooo:

We too have a private (unadopted) road for vehicular access to the rear of the house (and several other houses access either their front or back gates via it) We have in the past used slate chippings and they worked well for about a year but they were carried off in the tyre treads of all the vehicles and had to be replaced. We have tried everything to persuade the council to take over the lane but to no avail. Again, this year, it is a mass of huge potholes and loose gravel and it looks as if the whole surface is breaking up.

We have a maintenance contract (£7 p.a. per house) angel1
