Frankly my only reaction to this news was and is ~ only that many are members?  I'd have expected it to be more.

And she told the BBC News Channel she did not mind people knowing she was a member of the Labour Party, adding: "I wonder why it is that BNP members are rather more ashamed of their membership."



Perhaps she would care to have her address and phone number published then?

I'm not so sure that this wasnt an intentional 'leak' that has the blessing of the leadership. With the European PR elections approaching suddenly having the 'normal people have joined our party' message would be a hell of an image boost.
