Title: Indian Takeaways
Post by: Nick on October 14, 2008, 06:36:10 PM
Do they just make it up?

I called up and ordered the set meal for 2. I could scarcely lift the bag. eeek:

I counted 16 different containers and 2 bags. The kitchen table is covered in packaging and there is enough left for tomorrow breakfast, lunch and dinner. No idea what anything is.

And I feel  sick2:

If they have given you that much I'd start wondering if they were clearing the fridges out before the health inspector turned up....  whistle:

They always give us far too much. The Boy has now helped himself to some of it and,if aynthing, there seems to be more than when we started  rubschin:

When we have an Indian Take Away there is always more than we can eat ~ I usually MICROWAVE it back to life for lunch the next day ~ after first taking it out of the foil containers obviously. ::)

You're right ~ our "Combi" has wire trays which do not spark but I have never liked to risk the foil containers from Laki's for some reason.

All takeaway cold is good breakfast food. Apart from kebabs, chips and burgers.

£12.25 for me and Mrs TMR (to be (circa 2010 to keep other threads in sync)). Regrettably, I wasn't there at the time of ordering, thus the dish I was given - under the orders of the above - was nothing short of nuclear. I can eat very hot. Herself seemingly told them that they could not possibly make it hot enough.

It was - it has to be said - damn nice - but now I am going to suffer. Probably not for about six hours or so, but it will happen. And I'm meant to be going out on the old Triumph tomorrow morning...

I hope Box Hill has chilled toilet paper... sad24:
