Title: The best laid plans of Mrs Nick
Post by: Nick on October 12, 2008, 03:00:22 PM
We have a patch of land adjoining our house which people often park on, especially on busy days. It is very annoying.

Earlier Mrs Nick planted up several very large pots and placed them in a row on this patch to prevent people parking. I ventured to point out that someone parking there, expecially in the dark, might not see them and would destroy both them and their tyres. She wouldn't listen. SHe put them there an hour ago and went out.

Well. It didn't take long  noooo:. One is completely crushed. The guy is changing his tyre as I write  point: point:

I heard the bang! eeek:

Of course not ~ I hope you have the Reg Number of the offending vehicle. Growler will explain how you can use that to get the name and address of the vehicle owner and you can then send them a bill for the pot and contents. eveilgrin:

At least if you write down the registration Mrs Nick will accept that you have done your best to support her.
