Title: What the Princes don't want you to see
Post by: Berek on June 05, 2007, 06:26:38 PM
I wont be watching it, I dont think many of you will be either, so heres one pic they want banning.

It seems perfectly ok to continually show the planes on 9-11 crashing and thousands dying, or some of the poor buggers jumping from the buildings, but they dont want us to see that picture.

bollocks

To be honest I think its more a case of them being sick and tired of her death being used as 'news'. I mean look at the Daily Express, you could have a cataclysmic accident somewhere in the world and you are pretty much guarranteed that their front page will be some 'story' about there being a conspiracy behind her death.

Granted Al Fayed has decided that it was a conspiracy and is using every weapon he has to 'uncover' it, primarily the Daily Express, but there are plenty of other media brokers who are guilty of doing the same thing simply to make a fast buck.

You may hear 9/11 mentioned again but the graphic pictures stopped being shown at every opportunity a long time ago.

You obviously didn't watch "The Falling Man" Grumpmeister. Very graphic footage from 9/11 just last year.

I think Lady Di looks the model of composure in that photo, a Lady to the end  sad24:

Why would you want to though? I thought the Falling Man was quite a different programme as to what I imagine this will be. I also understand that the makers of the Falling Man attempted to get permission from those that they thought were his relatives and I believe it was granted. William and Harry don't want the pictures shown and for me that is enough. Not because they are royalty, not because they are better than anyone but because they are pictures of their dying Mother. I wouldn't have wanted pictures of my dying relatives plastered all over the shop either.

I did watch the falling man, but that was a well made documentary about the story behind one of the most iconic images of 9/11. Whearas the Diana crash has had every conceivable story behind it to either sell news or promote Al Fayed's single minded belief that they were killed by the establishment.

I do believe that she was killed by the establishment. No proof, but my feminine intuition tells me so.

Dont get me wrong, I think there is more to her death then we've been told. But the way that Al Fayed is using the Daily Express as a battering ram only gives a green light to do story after story just to sell more.

Like what exactly?

She died in a car accident like thousands do every year. End of story.

In certain cases, some details are kept quiet in order to preserve a victim's dignity and save the family any further pain Mort. The problem is that it leads the conspiracy nuts to their 'obvious' conclusions.

Sorry GM but I did read your post as implying there is a conspiracy.

Lets be clear about this.

There are ALWAYS conspiracies. A conspiracy is two or more people agreeing to misrepresent the truth of an historical event or, to attempt to covertly alter the natural course of events in an ongoing event or, to simply mislead.

Most everybody conspires at some time or other, even a surprise birthday party is a conspiracy.

It is not whether there is a conspiracy that is the issue.

The issue is:  Does it matter?

If they conspired to keep some of the more personal details away from the media then there is no story.
However, if they conspired to interfere with their progress to marriage to save the establishments face then there is.

Problem is, until you know what the conspiracy is you have no way of knowing if it matters or not.
