If you must put up garage forecourt wrapped flowers, teddies, football scarves and posters with the werd "WHY" on them, would you kindly mind removing them after a couple of years as they look a bloody mess.
I have counted 3 such memorials today.
1 is coming up to it's rotting 3rd anniversary ffs. ::)
You've obviously completely got over your trauma, or you'd surely have been back to renew and refresh your outpouring of grief for the whole world to sympathise and cry over.
"Gone, and obviously forgotton" signs will be erected by my good self shortly , as you obviously no longer give a toss.
"WHY?" posters will also have the words "don't you shift this shite" added too, so get it sorted munters. evil:

No, I'm not talking about anniversary's, I'm talkin' about the original stuff that was placed 1-3 years ago and left to rot by these grief stricken people that had to let the whole world know about their unique sad experience, or am I just being callous and unsympathetic?
I simply can't wait for one of the local scummy yoofs, and associated 8 on board chummys, to terminally smash his blingy 'racy' Corsa into the front window of the local 'Flowers By Chantel ' shops 'round here.
Mass confusion would surely follow. lol:

Milton Keynes Council remove all such memorials after one week.

Why would someone not go to remove the flowers they laid at the site of a death of a loved one?
Maybe because they can't bear to go back there? Maybe because removing the memorial feels like forgetting the one they lost? There could be lots of reasons why.

I can?t see why they would want to go there and do the thing in the first place ? it is bad enough driving past the scene of an accident without stopping and setting up the mounarama. noooo:
Seems like Milton Keynes Council have a sound, logical approach to the problem.

I'll go with the 'They forgot where they put it' school.
Cemeteries were invented as places to mark the dear departed. And people can go there in peace and quiet to sob away to their hearts content.
