Does anyone know of a reliable and cheap supplier of quails' eggs?
I have found some idiot locally who is prepared to pay a fortune for them, so I need a gullible supplier.

Piss Orf!
I have already selected the bird supplier, just need to get the aviary ready but we will not be putting birds into it until spring. They are migratory birds. Quail do not overwinter well in the UK without help. Once established ours will be provided with heating in winter but preparation and planning are the key to success in any venture.
Remember the Six P rule. Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance

So, are they Japanese or painted Chinese?
I think we should be told... rubschin:
-
Coturnix (Common) for laying qualities and hardiness ~ prolly crossed with Japanese for meat.
May introduce the idea of a few "fancies" once the boys have the hang of it and have proved their "promises" to do the work actually convert to commitment.
