Title: Kids wrapped in Cotton Wool
Post by: Nick on June 05, 2007, 08:48:55 AM

Why am I not surprised? Well, we are off to this place today which is huge fun and utterly dangerous. I have no idea how they get away with it, since everything is made out of rope, wood and old farm machinery. Last time we went an ambulance was removing the broken bodies of small children. The Boy loves it!! All children actually have to be hosed down at the end to remove the worst of the filth eeek:

Went there a couple of years ago Nick. It amazed all of us how the hell the H&S boys allowed it tbh. Things may have changed sadly.

We expect a full report of the impending disasters later thanks.
Most hospital beds do now have internet access.

IF you survive this expedition intact, try 'Go Ape' in Delamere forest tomorrow p'raps? whistle:

Well lets think ey? ::)

Countryside. Lots of wild animals, dead and alive, sticks and insects. Old rusty spikey sharp acricultural machinery. Muddy ponds and tunnels. Dodgy home made play equipment. No qualified supervision.

Yea, that sounds just ripe for an action packed day out with an over zealous youngster. rubschin:

At times I wonder whether Nick's optimism is bravery or just foolishness.  eeek:

Do you think it is nice there? It must be rather pleasant to bounce out of bed every morning convinced that the day ahead is full of joy!

Multiple bruising
Egg sized head bump
Sprained ankle
Double mud bath
Totally soaked through in hosepipe accident

Great fun. I just carried the water and bananas cry:
