Lots of hard work there, but they do range from excellent right through to unhinged. .
-
That's pretty much what I thought.
I liked Vincent Van Scarecrow ~ he'll have to be the winner. The trouble is encouraging the Children when some very clever entries come from Adults.

Why not have a childs and adults prize?
-
Is that an ood in there?
Also do you have an entry?

Not sure what an ood is.
Yes we do give a prize for both Grown-ups and for Children ~ the problem is that the entry forms are all in Children's names although it is obvious where Granddad or Mum and Dad have actually done more than "help"
For obvious reasons we do not "Enter the Competition" and our children understand that no matter how good their efforts I cannot award them a prize ~ that said they always want to build a scarecrow and display it and if they didn't then Mrs S#2 and I would because it "keeps the flag flying" so to speak. Ours is the "Mrs Sunshine & Mr Rain" standing either side of our front door. The house name shows clearly ..... which is something we try not to do on any of the pictures of the competition entries we take so that the "Judges" do not know which scarecrow is whose. whistle:

I see that is the "soundtrack". A whole tape of heavy breathing with some occasional squeaks?

There is a bit of gristle from one on TMR's plate if you sneak over and look forlorn.
