No thanks ~ I have enough trouble with one. Space alone would preclude a second.

A neighbour who designs software has a bank of monitors, pcs, macs and f*** knows what else on shelves all round his desk (in the back bedroom) all glowing, whirring and buzzing. Cables run all over the place, extension leads and sockets glow with the heat of it all, lights blink and flash, speakers emit strange noises and he is frequently most often to be found wearing headphones, listening to an ipod whilst using a lap-top in another room altogether.

Geekery gone mad I call it. ::)

Not at home, but I have set up all our office PC's including my own .

People grumble at first "WTF do I want this for" etc but all swear by it now.

At the very least you can have live cricket scores on one and porn work stuff on the other.  happy088

I had worked that out ~ what I cannot understand is why I would want to. Currently I am listening to the cricket and typing this message to you. All on one screen.

I can whilst performing these tasks run (for example) a live feed from the Stock Exchange and that shows up in a corner of my screen. How many tasks do I want to do at one time?

Flight simulatros are good on multi screen set ups. You can pretend you are looking out the side windows and waving at people like.

Banghead Hardly the same thing. Anyway I have "flown" simulators many times and do not wish to try to replicate the experience in my study thanks all the same.

But couldn't you renew your 'mile high club' membership without leaving the house?
