Who do you use to host?

I use Hostroute. Domain costs me £22 for three years but you can take a longer contract or renew every three years (they do prompt you well in advance) There is a certain amount of free hosting involved but you can buy more as and when you need it. Depends on what you want to put on it. Lots of Piccies takes lots of space. I have got round that (until they "catch up with me) by having the piccies cached elsewhere (flickr) and linking from the site. Nothing in this world is free and those companies that I have contacted that offer "free" usually turn out ot be anything but.
My Hostroute provided domain does not involve, as do many cheapos, using their name as part of the domain name and does include a number of email (allbeit webmail based) addresses. My site is currently undergoing an overhaul or I would give you a link to see how much I get for the money.
There are many to choose from but Hostroute has served (no pun intended) me well for 7 years now without any problems, their system is easy to use and access. No visitors to the site have ever told me of any problems with it.

In this sense it is where some nice person lets you put stuff up on the internet.

I like it when you talk to me as an equal and without a hint of condescension.

I recall a day when the older children were quite young. They were playing with the dog, in the living room as it was raining, and Mrs S#1 returned from a shopping trip. She came through the door and the dog was jumping all over the place. Mrs S bellowed "SIT!" and the dog, two children and I all sat ~ immediately.
Yes dear?  whistle:
