Title: Bush demands that Turkey be made a member of the EU.

I havent got a link yet as its only a headline on the BBC news site ticker but I'm curious as to just what the right or authority the undemocratically elected President of America has to demand who the EU accepts in its membership.

Well if the US wants it then you can be sure the French won't. Perhaps we are looking at a double bluff here. All Bush is doing is paying his debts to those who allowed him to use their airspace against Iraq.
