Let's all go to Japan to discuss the oil crisis. No we couldn't possibly do it by telephone or computer link .... we must all meet, face to face, at the furthest possible location that we can think of, by flying halfway round the world with all our hangers on and to cap it all, before we even get there, we will give the press a copy of the statement that we will be making AT THE END of our two day junket. What a bunch of arrogant b@st@rds.
Officials and ministers from the Group of Eight key industrialised nations (G8), as well as China, India and South Korea, are meeting for two days in the northern city of Aomori, to plot a strategy to deal with volatility in oil, gas and coal markets.
In a statement to be issued after G8 talks, the five countries will say prices pose a great burden, especially on developing countries, AFP reported.
