Title: Sorry, double booked !
Post by: Pastis on May 29, 2008, 09:56:19 AM
As part of my cost cutting strategy I've arranged to meet mortgage person at their local office. Off I go, all prepared with 5 years of accounts, current valuations, outlined strategy etc, ready for a face to face.

She's only gone and double booked herself and is 10 miles down the road in another appointment  Banghead Banghead

Well, we might be able to do this over the phone with head office. Half an hour and numerous calls later, I'm handed the phone. I explain... again.
Ah, that's another department.  ::)

Incidentally, as part of my case, I explain that I bought the property for 1.0 and the current value according the land registry site (recent transactions) is 3.0

That's good she says, clearly impressed. It's doubled in value!  eeek:
And this employee is in charge of people's money??  scared2:

Thank you Nationwide, I feel even more secure now.  cussing: cussing:

Maybe she used to work for Northern Rock.  ;)

She was probably thinking of a 200% increase  rubschin:

but no it doesn't bode well for the safety of your money.

Best suggestion I can make is to switch your mortgage to the Cheltenham & Gloucester. Nationwide are a load of cack anyway.

They certainly performed like a pile of cack this morning  evil:
