In some circles a cat like that is known as a "Familiar".
You don't own a broomstick and/or a cauldron do you?
-
Put a packet of OMO on the windowsill instead of the cat.

Placing a packet of OMO washing powder in the kitchen window.
Stands for "Old Man's Out" or even "On My Own" .
Reputed to be a sign by used "bored" housewives that a "gentleman caller" would not be unwelcome.
