Title: I have lost a friend

My old university pal Sammi.Met her in 1974. Came to visit three weeks ago.

Had a heart attack yesterday.Was found by  her 9 year old son.

We are in shock.

Sorry to hear that our thoughts an deep sympathies are with you and all her family, life is so rotten at times...

Very sorry to hear that; I hope the family gets all the much needed support to cope. These sudden ones are just numbing and so difficult to take in.

A few years ago a friend of mine, mid 40's, came back from a pub drink after work, his usual, put the key in the door... and dropped; brain tumor - completely unexpected. Very shocking.

Sad news Nick, all the more so for being so sudden.

It must be terrible for the lad finding his mother so.

As we get older this happens more often, but it never gets easy.

For a young woman to leave a young child so suddenly is just tragic.

We must be grateful for what we have while we are here, including our memories of friends who have gone.

I'm so sorry. How terrible. Poor kid, that is not something a child that age should have to see.  noooo:

I forgot to mention that she is divorced too.

God knows what will happen to the young man. Thanks for your kind thoughts.

heart attacks tend to be a blokey thing.. sorry to hear it Nick
