So they have an appointment to come round at 10 this morning to install the gaspowered mosquito trap.
At 10.15 they call to say that they were sorry no one was in and could they arrange another visit.
I said, "But I am here! When did you call?"
"At 10."
"DId you knock on the door?"
No
"Did you ring the bell?"
No
"WHat did you do?"
"We just stood outside."
noooo:

doh:

So now it has been installed. Huge Propane gas canister for The Boy to fiddle with scared2:
I asked how it worked.
They said that the trap has a device in it which converts the Propane to Carbon Dioxide rubschin:
I asked why they didn't just use a canister of Carbon Dioxide.
They couldn't answer that.
Most perplexing. Has anyone got any idea what this device is?

County Council? ................ I'm surprised they didn't issue with a free council newspaper and printed instructions on how to roll it up and swat the bloody insects evil:
-
It seems that mosquitoes are attracted to Carbon Dioxide. Apparently they also go for lurex!

So is the night sky to be illuminated by all these gas burning devices along the shore line then or are you an experiment?
I assume the mossies are coming off the marsh ............ why not DTD spray from the air like they used to in Africa and places?
