I watched (yet another) of those police stop action car chase programmes last night.
The thing that boiled my piss this time (again) is that time after time the summary of the chase was that the young thug had absconded while on bail and was now on the run.
Judges.
These young thugs obviously have no regard for the law, they are driving, often while banned or without even bothering to go through the rigmarole of taking a test. They have stolen a car or, if it is their own car are inevitably driving without tax, insurance or a MoT.
They drive recklessly with no thought to the lives or property of anybody else on the road, through red lights, on the wrong side of the road, at ridiculously excessive speed causing the police to invest thousands to apprehend them – often calling in a helicopter to assist.
Even when they crash the car or are cornered they refuse to give up and try to escape into their ghetto communities, often changing clothes to evade capture. They’ll even give the police false names and addresses and carry no ID of any sort to make identification harder.
Judges, what on earth makes you think that these feral scum, who have no regard for the law whatsoever will return to the court once you have let them out on bail? Banghead
The police do a fine job (while on camera anyway) of apprehending this scum that blights the country and contributes nothing. Once you have them, lock them up and throw they key away. For ever.

They are not driving legally anyway, so waht difference does that make.
Still. Darwin does his work. I heard this morning that 17 year old youfs are 10 times more likely to die in car crashes than other groups

Boy detained after 110mph chase
A 14-year-old old boy has been sentenced to youth detention for stealing a car and driving it at more than 110mph in a police pursuit.
The child, who cannot be named, drove the VW Touran 30 miles from Hull to Scunthorpe chased by five police cars and a police helicopter.
Hull Magistrates' Court was told the boy, then aged 13, was arrested after he crashed into three parked cars.
He was sentenced to eight months in youth detention.
