I think this guide book is very accurate
England is a nation of "overweight, alcopop-swilling, sex- and celebrity-obsessed TV addicts", according to a new tourist guide book. ;D

I lived in Newcastle for a while, vibrant is not a word I would have used though.. manic yes ;D
