Me too!
Listened to it on the wireless this morning like this -->> cussing:

Leave 'em to get on with it. You can only help someone who is prepared to be helped, anything else is not help but interference
-
We could build a bridge for them! Or just send them a video of the last one!

Leave who to get on with it? I suspect that the general population have no say in wether they are helped or not.
I imagine the fascist idiots are well fed, warm and housed in luxury and secure in the knowledge that China is backing them to the hilt.
We of course can watch the great (foreign) unwashed suffer on TV and hope the same happens to the north of England again this year. happy088

Too bloody right. If the people of Burma don't want their government then revolution is always an answer. We have troubles enough of our own. Kirsty Young has just been on the radio making an appeal for money to help the Burmese. She says that only £25 can buy mosquito nets for 10 people. Well Nick needs a mosquito net too. I'd rather send him £2.50.

The country's ruling military junta has impounded everything it has sent so far.
That'll be tea and biscuits for the Junta then... 100,000 high energy biscuits ::)
-
The Burmese Junta now seems to be saying, send us food, tents, water or even better money and we'll "distribute" it. ......... I just bet they will 8)
-
I heard a report on R4 this morning saying that some of crates being distributed had one of the General's names stamped onto it eeek:
Here you go, a present from your beloved leaders...
-
I don't know why but I keep getting a mental image of John Bird doing his Mugabe impersonation. 8)
