Pretty childish thing to do IMHO.
Tomatoes and eggs are traditional missiles to be thrown at politicians but a hard ball to the head from an office window is stupid. Particularly given the location and understandable sensitivities in that area concerning possible terror attacks and the fact it was George Galloway (known Iraq sympathiser).
I really hope he gets banged up for it and that his boss sacks him when he tries to return to work. Clearly he cannot be trusted to behave in an office.

The thrower should get a medal.... maybe a knighthood if he had thrown his desk out of the window ;D

I'm with Snoopy, a stupid and dangerous thing to do. I hope they throw the book at him (methaphorically of course)

I saw George and his bus a couple of evenings ago. Bloodly racket but at least they're showing a bit of enthusiasm.

Quote
The missile which silenced him - temporarily - was described by aides from the Respect party as “a rubber stress ball, about the size of a tennis ball.”

Note the use of the word "temporarily"!
