2 rabbits are trying to cross a busy road but dont know how.
Along comes a hedgehog.
Hedgehog : Whats up lads?
Bunny 1 : We want to cross the road but dont know how.
Hedgehog : Easy, what you do is run out into the middle of the first lane and duck down and any car will go right over you, then run into the second lane and do the same if a car comes. then run straight over.
Bunny 2 : Blimey, I never thought of that. I'll go first !
The rabbit runs out into the first lane and ducks down as a car approaches. There is a loud splat and the rabbit is flattened instantly by the car.
Bunny 1 : Oh my god he's dead! You said it would work! What happened?
Hedgehog : Well fuck me I aint seen a Reliant Robin on the road for years!

I second that groan.
Eric Sykes told it better many years ago on a flim set. One of the special effects cameramen used to live near us when we had the pub and told the joke to Eric on set. Eric loved it and retold it several times to different people and on about the fourth telling turned, straight faced, to our chum and asked "By the way ~ What is a Reliant Robin?"
