Title: Memories of Laurel and Hardy
Post by: Nick on March 13, 2008, 09:28:42 AM: Now that the painting is finished Mrs Nick insturcted me to "move the piano".

She had measured up a space in an alcove and concluded that the piano would fit. Unfortunately she had not allowed for the skirting board. evil:

Me and the chatty painter heaved and struggled. It is now wedged solid!! ::)

And I am covered in cobwebs evil:

Post by: Snoopy on March 13, 2008, 12:23:21 PM: We have a similar problem. I too cannot persuade Mtrs Snoopy that one needs to measure top and bottom of both space and item to be inserted. Not all gaps, I told her, are as elastic as others. whistle:
