I wonder what their reaction would have been if he'd forgotten his swimming kit and had to do it in the buff?  Or been given the cane or asked to turn out his pockets?  eeek:

When I was at school, there was always some poor kid hobbling around on a plaster with a crutch. I went to school with my arm in plaster for 4 weeks. Sounds like I missed a chance for some time off and daytime TV.
