Just had a cold call.

Why do thay all seem to overuse the word ''basically" ?

Well basically because they basically have nothing worth saying. Basically.
Basically it's all very basic and basically simple.

Almost. Basically we got to point where he said, "basically you're not going to give me a chance to explain" and basically he put the phone down.

I get a weekly call from the same people (Space Design) who want to sell me a kitchen. Every time I say the same thing .... "You will need to speak to the property owner" and every time they say "Oh sorry to have troubled you". This has gone on for two years now. I have come to look upon them as friends and would miss them terribly if any one of them was ever bright enough to delete me from their list.  eveilgrin:

As I see it I am telling them no lies as the Building Society owns far more of the house than I do.  ::)
