Me too BM .... I've tried it with a Paki accent and with a Geordie accent but that was no help either

I can only assume that as 'Midget Gems' are small sweets sold by weight and an average Pakistani, in the eyes of some parochial English, only run corner shops...

Are 'Midget Gems' some Northern working-class confection? I don't think I have seen them in Waitrose.
