Well lets face it, none of us had either just 25 years ago...ish did we?
Could you run your life without either or both of them now?
I'm struggling to think how I could run my business without a mobby tbh. rubschin:
Suppose I'd have to employ some young long legged bit of fluff to take things down in the office, and for me to report in every half hour? cloud9: whistle:
As for the internet, it's only really for leisure activities for me, but I dare say some of you would be without a job if it/they didn't exist?
How the hell did we cope before hand? eeek:

More slowly that's for sure ~ and with a lot less stress I suspect.

I don't know how I would manage. Life would be totally different. I was looking through some old files the other day and found some stuff I had written in the 1980s on an electric typewriter. I had used Tippex to make corrections. Where would I be now without cut and paste. My old dad was in the office equipment business - all mechanical duplicators (Banda) and Facit calculators - looked like typewriters and full of cogs.
He was working on these only 30 years ago. They are museum pieces now.

I managed a mainframe computer that answered to that general description. The concept of a VDU was unthought of and a cocking handle reboot was de facto cutting edge stuff.
It did not like Pi as I remember, useful for an afternoon off now and again. Kept confusing 65,535 with 100,000 - quite inconvenient! Funnily enough, the same problem has revisited Excel 2007 - What goes around......
