Title: Oyster shyster
Post by: Pastis on October 01, 2007, 10:40:07 AM
"We are sorry but due to a site upgrade your password is no longer valid, blah blah blah... which means you can't find out how much is on your card, and of course it might suddenly be invalid mid-journey making you late for the appointment... so sorry"

Jeeeeesus. If TFL can manage to send me emails every week about tube closures and maintenance, you'd have thought they could manage a short email warning of an upgrade to the Oyster website  evil:

Dear User.

"We are sorry but due to a site upgrade the password for your life support system  is no longer valid, blah blah blah... which means it will no longer control how much assistance your life support is providing. Naturally your life might suddenly become invalid and necessarily terminated for lack of information... so sorry."

P.S. We are working on close monitoring so that you can be comforted by knowing that your complete itinerary and conversation records have been filed for your protection and well-being.

UK - the caring State.
