Apparently, Nick is in A&E...
It sounds like he was in horsepickle (after an accident?) and was taken ill again at the cat sitting house and rushed back to A&E...
Can anybody remember 'The Boy's' name...? rubschin:

It is all a bit strange (as you would expect from Nick!)...

The story as far as I can gather is...
Trying to add Claire Thornton to group (house where Nick was cat sitting)
This info from her last eve...
Yes so were in Spain on holiday and Nick was at our house in East Dulwich.
My son George has been with him and he was given his sons no so he has tried contact Adam.
Nick had a car accident yesterday but made it back from the hospital to the house but then neighbours heard cries of pain and went in and he was really catatonic so they called an ambulance and they took him
In. Hes still in a and e and more lucid but still confused. Hell be moved to a ward as soon as they can
As George my son is fairly close by he went and got Nicks phone and took it to him. He was quite worried tbh, hes not in intensive care but not sure whats going on. He had an mri which was okay. But in pain I think. And fell out of the bed. George had to really fight to keep them on it as his door was closed but when he left they were more attentive.
All this was last eve.
Let's try (those of us in UK) to reach hospital and then share all info

The Boy did speak to Nick yesterday and said he was 'confused but in good spirits'... rubschin:

For those busy - they've found a blood infection and have moved from generalised to specialised antibiotics, and are waiting to see the effect of said antibiotics before being discharged. They are also going for an ultrasound but looks like the only slots available are tomorrow
He seems in good spirits and less confused than two days ago, and is in a far nicer ward and being well looked after, and is pleased to hear you're all wishing him qwll

He apparently talked of being unwell for a while...
It is possible that the blood infection caused his confusion and possibly the car crash.
He has suffered a bruised sternum in the crash and the car is still wrecked up the road from the cat-sitting location...

A right mess then. Poor Nick but at least all that is fixable.

Just had a call from Nick - I think he must have dialled in error or hit call back to one of mine the other day.
He sounded pretty terrible TBH and couldn't communicate. noooo:

Hi All - just had a phone call from Nick!
He wants me to add his name to this group but says he can't really message at the mo as his fingers are not hitting right keys!
🙃 Actially, I think texting him short notes might be good.
He's pleased you are all up to speed and appreciates everyone's care ❤️🩹 I emphasised how we all wish him 100% well very soon 🤗
Basically he's been pretty out of it for 5 days - dozing, hallucinating, dreaming, lost all sense of days & time...
He's now aware that he's on antibiotics - not sure himself how effective they are. Did not know about proposed ultra sound that George mentioned...
Accident was on Monday - he was muddled but crashed into a stationary car, airbags worked - bruised sternum.
Currently can't sit up very well but thinks they'll let him go with a wheelchair soon - hard to believe that, to be honest. He thinks he'll get a train back to Nottingham 🤷🏻♀️ in a wheelchair!
I told him you are back on Thursday, Claire and want to help out, I urged him to wait for you.
He appreciated seeing George y'day 🙂
I'm sure he'll call others of you esp as I'm away from tomorrow.
My sense is, he should not leave hosp just yet - clearly not able to do much / look after himself 😏 at present.
Just hope doctors will share with him what's going on and what's planned.
