There appear to be rather more aenues routes to circumenting skirting this problem than I expected  :thumbsup:

It is helping to awaken my passie ocabulary seldom used words

Buying a new keyboard and plugging it in may be cheaper than buying a new laptop :thumbsup:

You could always use ascii codes ~ press Alt and the code number (on the number pad) to get a letter. So f would be Alt102 and F Alt070

Assuming you are using Windows 10, hit Start and then scroll down to Windows Ease of Access. There is an option for an on screen keyboard there that you can use with your mouse.
