A few years ago I bumped into an old friend in London. He was meeting someone else for lunch and invited me along. His friend arrived. I took one look at him and thought, "You are a twat!" I was right. Lunch was an ordeal. He was a twat.
One of the other volunteer drivers here turned up for the first time last week. I took one look at him and thought, "You are a twat""
I met him again today. He is a twat.
Does anyone else have this experience ever?

First impressions are often right but are certainly not infallible.
