Title: Adding insult to injury
Post by: Miss Demeanour on January 07, 2020, 03:36:58 PM
After a painful year of battle with EDF incompetency and stupidity we finally decided enough was enough. This was spurred into action after we submitted our 6 month energy readings at the beginning of January. This calculated that at the end of the year we were over £300 in credit but they had decided that this required an increase in our direct debit by over £75 a month when we are on a fixed term agreement.

Of course you can't speak to anyone directly so you have to repeat yourself a ridiculous number of times through their online  'live chat' system and be patronised beyond belief.

Anyway they eventually agreed to "helpfully " leave the direct debit to what it was. That was the last straw.

So we are in the process of switching to a.n.other.

However today i receive an email with a cute dog picture , paw up, sad eyes etc ...from EDF . "Sorry to see you go etc...would you consider coming back and giving us another chance "

Feck right off  cussing: cussing: cussing:
