Read a bit further on this, sounds very miserly and limited

Yes, it is a ghastly mess...

Our friend Katherine could be okay - if they pay her rent and if they fix the land slip she may be able to move back to her house at some point...

...but those that have already watched their comes fall down don't get much comfort or hope from it...  noooo:
