Title: Rescuing people

Worried about this.

Miss I has a friend here ( I know her) who is brilliant (Cambridge Double First in English, MA, Ph.D) BUT severely anorexic and obviously ill and alone.

I see her around, wandering on stick thin legs and doing weird self-grooming stuff as she walks.

Mentioned this to Miss I who said, You have to help her.

How???

Frankly, she could be a beautiful and successful young woman. As things are, she will be dead within 2 or 3 years  noooo:

Going from past experience with an ex the first step is going to be to find the cause of the anorexia, if it is solely down to wanting a sense of control it's possible but bloody difficult.

If she will accept drinks then slipping in some whey protein can help to a degree.

Introduce her to lock keeping?  or Penny?  Have to say my entire knowledge about how to help anorexics could be written on a stick insect

And now another  noooo:

The Vicar's Daughter got married 15 months ago. They just bought their first house. She told me the other day that she wants a divorce.

I said she could call me anytime and I would just listen.

She wants to see me on Wed evening to unburden herself  noooo: noooo: noooo:
