Title: Friends that you don't like...........

We may need a new Psychiatric Snug for this one.

I met a guy in about 1980 who sort of attached himself to me. I went to his wedding, followed him through his divorce, speak to him, go for the occasional beer, discuss careers and stuff.

Just had a one hour phone convo with him as he got in touch to ask how I am.

I have no interest in him and, frankly, don't like him much, but we have known one another for a long time.

He pressed me about meeting next time I am in Birmingham ( sick2: ). I said I would let him know.

Is it just me, or does anyone else have long-standing "friendships" which are one-sided?  rubschin:
