Title: Ambitious itineraries
Post by: Nick on September 07, 2007, 09:45:37 AM
Some Latin American friends of Mrs Nick are visiting the UK next week and she has invited them to stay overnight on Monday. It is the daughter's first trip to the UK so they want to see as much as possible. They land at Heathrow and have  a day in London before travelling to Exeter. They then come from Exeter to Liverpool to see us before proceeding to "Scotland" and then down to Cambridge and back to London and on to Paris.

HOw long do you think they are staying in the UK for?

I have an American cousin + husband stopping over 1 night in London next weekend. Naturally they want to "do" everything with me in tow  confused:

They have already booked hotel + restaurants + show apparently, but there's still free time so can I organise a museum trip / art gallery / event to fill the odd spare hour?

Still, last time they did this they managed to get into one of Gordon Ramsay's twice in 48 hours -  eyes:

One of his what. I got thrown out of one of his restaurants once. My mate and I went into the kitchen to see what all the noise was about. They threw us out before we had paid the bill lol:

It was GR's at Claridges. The American rellies are very deferential  ::)

Allegedly next is Tom's Kitchen; I wonder if he shouts and swears?

Seems reasonable to me. Perhaps the guy was a good cook and he wanted him not to stray. shrugs:
