Most reviews point out the much richer sound and also that Ringo was destroying the drumkit!!

This first pop band - long on image and short on talent - were the first incarnation of where music went wrong. The Rolling Stones were and still are light years ahead of anything they ever did.

All Mersey-beat was utterly shite, vapid and almost worse than The Human League in terms of irrevocable damage to proper musicians.
