Tonight I dismantlerised the beloved iPhone and changed the battery

Jeez is it fiddly and a real eye strain but fucking hell it's only bloody working

Smug time, wot could postibly go wrong?

I've installed a new App on my phone that sounds like a police siren.

Comes in handy if there is a long queue at KFC...

You may want to avoid the new update from Apple as it apparently disables iphones that have been worked on by unauthorised agents.  noooo:

It costs an absolute fortune for an 'authorised' agent to repair an apple product which is why people tend to go to independent repair places. This has nothing to do with security and everything to do with loss of revenue for Apple.

I'm tempted to get back in touch with a couple of my former colleagues who were rabid Apple fans and would routinely accuse Microsoft of being soulless money grabbing bastards....  whistle:

Seems the class action lawyers here and the USA are already gathering for action over this  :thumbsup:.

Yet..... Something tells me that this will be rolled out over all of the older models in an attempt to convince the owners to upgrade to the new flashy iphone.  rubschin:
